Flight - Operations

IMA is the operator of the civil part at Ingolstadt-Manching military airport and therefors responsible for handling all departures and arrivals of business flights in connection with local companies as well as departures and arrivals of all civil aircraft based at our airport.

Regular hours of operation:
(similar to military operationg hours)

• Monday - Thursday:
• 09:00 h - 17:00 h local time
• Friday:
• 09:00 h - 14:00 h local time

PPR rules:

Before 09:00 h and after 17:00 h local time
(Friday: 14:00 h) as well as
on weekends and public holidays,
flight operations are only posible with prior request!
Additional fees will apply.

• For movements outside our regular hours of operation (see above), a timely notification for intended flight operations is mandatory:
• For flight operations between 07:00 h and 09:00 h local time, a notification is necessary until 17:00 h local time (Friday: 14:00 h) of the previous day.
• All flight operations after 17:00 h local time (Friday: 14:00 h) shall be announced until 16:00 h local time (Friday: 12:00 h) the same day.
• Flights on weekends and public holidays must be requested until the applicable Friday, 12:00 h local time.
• All flight announcements shall be sent online!

PPR times for civil flights:

• Monday - Thursday:
• 07:00 h - 09:00 h local time
• 17:00 h - 22:00 h local time
• Friday:
• 07:00 h - 09:00 h local time
• 14:00 h - 20:00 h local time
• Weekends and public holidays:
• SR-30 until SS+30 (max. 07:00 h - 20:00 h local time)

Limitations according fire fighting category:

• 07:00 h - 17:00 h local time (Friday: 14:00 h):
• no weight limitation
• Later:
• max. Fire Category 4 (ICAO Annex 14; higher category possible O/R)

• For all flights involving countries which are no members of the Schengen Treaty but members of the EC or involving Third Countries, important regulations apply. Please read our customs information carefully.
